Cycling can be a great way to get around, fun, good for you and social. But it can be confusing! With lots of people telling you what to do, or more accurately what they don’t feel you should be doing, getting started can seem off putting.
Luckily there isn’t really a right way to benefit from cycling, you don’t need to spend a great deal of money on the hobby, if you don’t want to, sometimes you might want to and that is also definitely possible! But if you feel you must spend money to fit in, wear Lycra or lose your weekends to cycling miles upon miles to a remote coffee stop you need not worry.
This site contains my own stories of cycling, product reviews, and maybe the odd longer distance relaxed ride into the flatter country lanes.
Based in London, I’ve actively been using a bicycle as my preferred mode of transportation since college where a frugal choice of getting from A to B quickly became a method of not just transportation but a great way to engage with my surroundings as well as form of therapy. I have been riding bikes and tinkering ever since and I hope my experiences help you discover your own preferred way to ride.
